As more information and advice from state and church organisations regarding the COVID-19 virus are released. It is likely that there will be impacts on church services and events.
At church services the shaking of hands either during or at the end will be suspended for the foreseeable future. Communion services will not be using the common cup and instead of knelling at the communion rail parishioners will be asked to stand to lessen the risk of cross infection from the rail itself. The offertory collections will be retiring collections at each church. We may ask parishioners to follow guidelines about keeping a social distance using the pews across the whole church building.
