Online Service 11am Facebook Live

Rev Adam will be conducting an online service Sunday 29th March at 11am. Hopefully as last week the sun will shine and bird song will shout out the beauty and majesty of creation at this time of fear uncertainty and worry. On a computer or laptop you don’t have to sign up to facebook to watch the facebook live event.

The link is http://fb.me/smkcofi

If you can’t join us in real time on Sunday morning you will be to watch it later on the videos link on the parish facebook page.

in order to feel more engaged with the service some excerpts are reproduced below to help you join in

Confession

Let us confess our failures to be channels of God’s love, peace and justice in a troubled and unequal world.

Most merciful God, Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, we confess that we have sinned in thought, word and deed. We have not loved you with our whole heart. We have not loved our neighbours as ourselves. In your mercy forgive what we have been, help us to amend what we are, and direct what we shall be; that we may do justly, love mercy, and walk humbly with you, our God. Amen.

Responding

Let us declare our faith in God.

We believe in God the Father, from whom every family in heaven and earth is named.

We believe in God the son, who lives in our hearts through faith, and fills us with His love.

We believe in God the Holy Spirit, who strengthens us with power from on high.

We believe in one God; Father, Son and Holy Spirit. Amen Ephesians 3

Lord, make me an instrument of your peace. Where there is hatred, let me bring love. Where there is offence, let me bring pardon. Where there is discord, let me bring union. Where there is error, let me bring truth. Where there is doubt, let me bring faith. Where there is despair, let me bring hope. Where there is darkness, let me bring your light. Where there is sadness, let me bring joy. O Master, let me not seek as much to be consoled as to console, to be understood as to understand, to be loved as to love, for it is in giving that one receives, it is in self-forgetting that one finds, it is in pardoning that one is pardoned, it is in dying that one is raised to eternal life
