Our theme this year for harvest focuses on our God being a generous God, on Friday 16th at Meenglass Alan Williamson and on Sunday 18th Emma Lynch from Tearfund both spoke on this theme and we would like to thank them for coming to share their message with us
I know those present in Meenglass will still be thinking about their cows and the extras such as the omnidirectional fly swatter the all terrain movement ability and inbuilt heating system. In Stranorlar, Emma highlighted that in the Bible there are over 2000 passages where the theme is poverty and how we should react to it.
As always there are many people that made certain that the services were as enjoyable and meaningful as there were for example all those that decorated the churches so beautifully, that the churches and car parks were open and ready to receive the congregation, those that played the music for us to sing to. A heartfelt thanks to all those involved.
Come and join us for Harvest at St John’s Kilteevogue 7:30pm on October 16th and hear how Rev Adam & Karl Kee got on in Ethiopia, with stories pictures and more…
